Technical Services Manager – Electrical Supply Industry - West Yorkshire £50K plus bonus car/allowance & other benefits

Our Client is a manufacturer that designs and manufactures a range of electrical distribution equipment that is used throughout the electrical distribution and supply industry globally. We are retained to identify suitable candidates for the Technical Services Manager role, the principal function of which is to work closely with customer engineering departments and the clients own engineering, production and commercial teams, to organise, prepare, facilitate and follow up on all topics raised during collaboration workshops with the UK customer base and build on the strong working relationships which the client has developed.


In this role you will organise on site meetings with customer engineering teams to demonstrate existing products and discuss further desired improvements, modification and development to meet customer requirements and in doing so further develop the already strong working relationships the client enjoys with their customers.

Also attending Electricity Supply Industry conferences, seminars, exhibitions and industry events to stay aware of the industries trends and competition.

Travel throughout the UK will be necessary along with some international travel.

A good mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualification is essential, along with knowledge of the UK Electricity Supply Industry on both underground and overhead LV (1kV) and MV (11kV) networks.

Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and in PowerPoint are also required.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm with an element of flexi-time.
