Job Description

Sales Specialist Industrial Electrical Control & Automation Circa £45K - £55K DOE Plus Generous Bonus Scheme plus Car, Pension, PMI, Life Assurance and other Benefits.

We have a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our client’s sales team as Sales Specialist for the South of England area. A highly motivated salesperson, you will have the desire to build the area business, growing an already established customer base, with the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area, benefitting from a generous bonus scheme based on business growth. You will have full support resources within the organisation, utilising support for and working with other product specialists within the team and the partnerships you will foster with the channel partners within the territory.

The role will be selling a full range of low voltage control gear components and solutions along with power distribution switchgear and circuit protection. Knowledge of product application along with an understanding of International Standards (IEC/UL/CSA/ISO) would be desirable.

You are likely to already be a successful achiever in a similar role as an Area Sales Engineer/Area Sales Manager/Field Sales Engineer, have a relevant Electrical/Electronic engineering qualification (ONC/HND or Degree), ideal would be low voltage controls and protection experience, however, Electrical Engineers with good automation knowledge & ability to move into a sales role will be considered and sales training and development can be provided.

Have knowledge of LV controls products, their applications and market place

Experience of working with Distribution Channel Partners

Achieve specification and preferred supplier status with clients

Be of smart and professional presentation, with a positive, motivated attitude

Skills required:
Knowledge of electrical and electronic industrial control & automation products, their applications and markets
Negotiation at all levels
Computer literacy
Drive & enthusiasm
Excellent communication
Self motivation
Driving License

Ideal location would be central to the South possibly along M4 corridor, Slough, Reading , Swindon, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire however suitable candidates from other locations are welcome..
