Job Description

Sales Team Leader - Technical Sales Office c.£30K plus benefits including Pension Plan, Health Care, Life Assurance, Free car Parking 25 days annual leave increasing with service and more.

If you have supervisory level management experience as an Office Manager or Supervisor gained working in a sales environment, supervising and managing a team of sales staff, we have a great opportunity based in Buckinghamshire, in order to commute you will probably live Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire or Northamptonshire areas surrounding Milton Keynes. Whilst being a hands on, active member of the team yourself, you will manage all internal branch sales staff on a day to day basis ensuring quality, productivity and objectives are met within a positive and results driven environment where accuracy is required and customer expectations are exceeded.

Team Supervisory experience in an industrial, business to business, repeat business environment would be ideal and in particular in a components, PPE, or MRO related sales and distribution business.

You should be able to lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and approach to problem solving, ensuring high levels of customer service are met, achieving key performance indicators and enough commercial awareness to negotiate prices and maximise sales. You will be a key internal member of the staff, involved in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining customer relationships, supporting external sales staff and effective use of time and resources. Good communication skills are of course a necessity, as are computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft office package and sales order data entry systems. You will also be responsible for your own personal development and assisting and guiding team members to achieve their objectives, along with annual performance and development reviews and acting as a first level of handling local HR issues. Ideally in addition to GCSE level qualification including Maths & English you will have further qualification and training in management & supervisory topics e.g. NVQ level 3, along with experience in supervising and motivating a team. In addition Industrial Electrical product or systems knowledge and experience would be a benefit.
