IT Helpdesk / Analyst Basic neg up to c£25K plus pension, optional health plan, life assurance, on site parking etc.
We are currently seeking candidates for a Helpdesk Analyst with previous experience in an IT department support role to join our Clients’ I.T. department. As part of a team you will be helping and liaising with our colleagues face to face, by telephone and email. It is important that you enjoy dealing with people to resolve their IT issues and able to use initiative, determination and in a structured manner, both independently and as part of a team.
The primary role is to act as a single point of contact for the incoming issues or query, receiving, logging and managing the enquiry.
You will also be involved in maintaining an Asset Database of equipment, tracking changes, replacements and redundancy of equipment.
Troubleshooting of IT related problems from in house software to hardware including laptops, P.C.’s, printers, smartphones etc.
Resolve basic network issues such as ADSL broadband issues.
Escalate unresolved calls when appropriate to the Team leader.
It will also benefit the team if you provide support and training to product data assistants, ensuring product data standards and data governance processes are followed.
-Ideal 2 years previous experience IT service desk or IT call centre experience
-Incident Management experience – managing incidents including business expectations and communication.
-using a methodical approach with a ‘can-do’ mentality.
-High degree of accuracy applied to workload.
-Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Ability to prioritise tasks based on business objectives.
Office based working at present You are likely to live Milton Keynes, Dunstable, Luton, Bedford, Northampton or surrounding area in order to commute.
