We are partnered with our Client, a well-known and respected, leading company within the Industrial Control & Automation Industry, to find suitable candidates for the position of Global Project Execution Manager to join the fast growing Engineering team, working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in the Global Engineering department, providing solutions in electrical and automation technology to the process industries and general manufacturing sectors. The company have enjoyed huge success thanks to its high quality, wide range of products and solutions and this senior level position represents a superb opportunity to join this Global business.
In this role you will be managing the execution of projects across the globe whist ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the Clients strategic and commercial success in the project. Your early involvement with project opportunities prior to order will assure that negotiations of contracts and the specifications and timelines are effectively agreed. From receipt of order you will coordinate project team resource requirements, internal and external, to complete the project successfully.
In order to be considered for this opportunity you are likely to have a Professional Project Management qualification along with several years project management experience, ideally in an electrical or electronic related area involving both hardware and software aspects along with on-site installation experience.
In addition strong influencing skills along with excellent written & verbal communication and presentation ability in English. An excellent knowledge of electrical engineering and software practices will be required.
Experience & understanding of engineering, production and supply chain processes.
With global responsibility there will be a requirement to travel nationally and globally – estimated at 8 weeks per annum approx.
This is an exciting and varied role that will see you act as the key link between customer/sales/design and in-house production in order to bring about successful project delivery.
This role is ideally based at the company offices but with some degree of remote working possible and there is the requirement for some travel across the UK, Europe and possibly Global on occasion.
