Channel Manager/Distribution Manager UK & Ireland- Circa £55K -65K OTE with neg basic plus bonus, quality car, and other benefits.
We are appointed as the sole consultants for our client and as such have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Channel Manager for the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries. You will be working for a Manufacturer of control & automation components as well as other electrical products suitable for a wide range of industry sectors and will be able to demonstrate your understanding of how to get the best business growth results from distribution partners in this sector, by cultivating a partnership approach based on trust and information sharing and common business goals. You will be managing distributors and resellers with branches based locally, regionally and nationality as well as the major catalogue based, value added distributors.
You will input to the planning and implementation of distribution policy and strategy, working with colleagues in the UK Sales Team and where relevant European colleagues to achieve the desired outcome.
Ideal would be experience at a national level and ready to take the next step to join the UK based team of a successful European manufacturer of high quality products predominantly for the electrical and electronic market place.
As a candidate you are likely to already have experience in a channel management, distribution management role in the Electrical/Electronic related market place, in addition channel management experience and knowledge of selling via electrical wholesalers, distributors and reseller channels would be desirable.
As you would expect the role involves extensive travel throughout the territory so a valid driving licence and the ability to spend nights away is essential.
