Our Client has a requirement for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Southern half of England, Leicestershire down to South Coast, whole o M4 corridor including Greater London. An ideal location would be central to this territory, however, suitable candidates with good access to road networks will be equally suitable.
The Company are seeking an experienced Field based Sales Engineer to continue the growth of business from existing and new customers, you will be building upon business in existing accounts alongside all new business development, selling the Company's full portfolio of Automation products to the Control and Automation sector, both directly and via technical distributor channel partners, wholesale resellers to Panel Builders, Systems Integrators, OEM's & End Users across all industry sectors, with key sectors of Building, Infrastructure, Machinery, Energy, Process, Packaging, Transportation.
Suitable candidates are likely to be individuals with a solid technical platform (probably ONC, HNC or Degree level Electronic/Electrical Engineering but an ability to illustrate good relevant experience and knowledge would suffice) and typically with an engineering background having extensive experience of the industrial automation and control marketplace (Power, Process, Packaging, and Transportation). The ability to work with, through and motivate distributors and resellers is of high importance as is experience and understanding of a wide range of electrical components and applications. You are most likely to already be working within the Electrical control & automation sector with at least 5 years relevant experience as an Area Sales Engineer, Field Sales, Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager, with a strong and successful technical sales background selling products and/or solutions. This will suit a driven, self motivated and well organised individual, with the capability to present and form relationships at all levels.
