We have a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our client’s sales team as Area Sales Manager for the Midlands and Ireland. You will currently be a successful Field Sales Engineer or Sales Executive in the Electrical Sector with experience of selling technical components, products or services. You will possess the desire to build the area business, growing an already established customer base, having the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area. Ideally your career as a sales engineer or sales representative to date will have included working for a manufacturer and selling both directly to key accounts and also working via distributors and resellers. Experience in dealing with engineers to achieve specification or preferred supplier status is highly desirable. Electrical sector knowledge and an understanding of electrical industrial control is essential. An Electrical qualification is also essential. You will have full support resources within the business and your own energy will be the only limitation to the levels of your rewards and success. You will be building upon existing accounts alongside all new business development, selling the Company's full portfolio of Electrical Control and Automation products, both directly and via distributor channel, to Panel Builders, Systems Integrators, OEM's & End Users for applications in Factory Automation, Process Automation and Logistics Automation for this highly respected manufacturer of components.
Ideally you will be situated in one of the following locations: Greater Manchester, Warrington, Stockport, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, or West Midlands area, Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Telford, Coventry.
You will have smart personal appearance, team spirit and a positive, motivated attitude.
Electrical/Electronic qualification with knowledge of electrical products, their applications and markets.
