Field Sales Engineer Industrial Electrical Control & Automation Circa £40K DOE Plus Bonus plus Car, Pension, PMI, Life Assurance and other Benefits.

We have a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our client’s sales team as Area Sales Engineer for the South central area. A highly motivated salesperson, you will have the desire to build the area business, growing an already established customer base, with the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area. You will have full support resources within the organisation and your own energy will be the only limitation to the levels of your rewards and success.

Ideal location would be central to the South most probably Hampshire, West Sussex or south Surrey or possible Berkshire, in order to equally access all areas of this territory. Your role content is account manager to existing accounts and business development of additional revenue via existing and new accounts in order to maximise sales and profits.
The role will be selling a full range of automation and control components but with a focus upon the automation content – VSD (variable speed drives), PLC's (programmable logic controllers), HMI’s, other products would be power supplies and transformers, sensors and switches, safety switches, switchgear, control gear, relays, timers, temperature controllers, din rail connectors, circuit protection and other automation components.

You are likely to already be a successful achiever in a similar role as an Area Sales Engineer/Manager, have a relevant Electrical/Electronic engineering qualification (ONC/HND or Degree), however, Electrical Engineers with good automation knowledge & ability to move into a sales role will be considered and sales training and development can be provided.
