Administrative Assistant- Full Time
On behalf of our Client, a leading accountancy firm in the local area, based in the centre of Chesterfield. Due to recent growth, they have a new opportunity in a supporting office administrative role.
We are looking for a general admin assistant to help in the office. Duties will include raising invoices, taking payments, new client onboarding, reception and telephone work amongst other admin functions.
The role is office-based and ideally full-time, though we could be flexible on hours for the right person. The ideal candidate would be bright, helpful, hardworking, responsible with good customer service and Microsoft Office skills.
The package would be a salary of £24,000 along with a competitive pension after a successful trial period. 28 days’ holiday a year and a happy, friendly working environment. We can be flexible with working arrangements to fit around individual needs where possible. The position will however need to be office-based in Alfreton as that is dictated by the work.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Answering client telephone calls should cover be required
• Contacting clients to obtain books and records required by colleagues
• Raising invoices, monitoring and chasing payments
• Client onboarding to get new clients set up in our system
The successful applicant will possess:
• A mature work ethic and sense of reliability
• The ability to communicate professionally in a written and verbal manner
• Good general Microsoft skills
• Experience in an accountancy practice is not required
