Sales Engineer South East East Anglia Circa £30K plus Car & Pension, and other Benefits.

On behalf of our Client, an established market leader in their field, we have an excellent opportunity to progress your career as an Area Sales Engineer selling products and solutions for work stations and machinery building systems, based on a modular profile components system, throughout the East Midlands, East Anglia and South East. You may already be in this area of industry as a Sales Representative, Sales Engineer or currently in a mechanical engineering biased role looking to move into a Field based Sales role. Qualifications are not necessary however some engineering related experience is likely. Since this is a sales role either previous experience in sales or a strong desire coupled with an outgoing personality is essential. Full product training and ongoing technical support will be provided.

The customer requirements can vary from one off orders to high value complete production line projects of significant value. The highly successful current territory will be split to create the additional role so you will inherit an established customer base of repeat B2B accounts and you will be responsible for all customer accounts and sales on your territory.

The territory will cover a significant part of the South East quarter of England depending upon where the successful applicant is based. Field based working from a home office typically one day per week and visiting customer 4 days per week, as is usual you will be working to achieve defined sales targets and capable of developing a personal plan in order to achieve your objectives through managing and further developing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst constantly striving to identify new avenues of business. Excellent attributes such as good organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to be an effective team player whilst enjoying a level of autonomy are essential, as are capability with Microsoft packages.
