Area Sales Manager Up to £45K OTE DOE inc Bonus plus Pension, other benefits, Car, Smart Phone, Laptop.

We have a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our client’s sales team as Area Sales Manager/Field Sales Engineer for the South of England. You will currently be a successful Field Sales Engineer or Sales Executive in the Electrical Sector with experience of selling technical components, products or services. You will possess the desire to build the area business, growing an already established customer base, having the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area. Ideally your career as a sales engineer or sales representative to date will have included working for a manufacturer and selling both directly to key accounts and also working via distributors and resellers. Experience in dealing with engineers to achieve specification or preferred supplier status is highly desirable, as is some experience of machinery safety and the machinery directive. Electrical sector knowledge and an understanding of electrical industrial control is essential. An Electrical qualification is also essential. You will have full support resources within the organisation and your own energy will be the only limitation to the levels of your rewards and success.

Ideally you will be situated somewhere along the M4 corridor, Suitable locations would include Gloucester, Oxford, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertford, Surrey, Essex, Kent Buckinghamshire, Northampton, Cambridge, or Warwickshire would be ideal locations in order to equally access all areas of this territory. Your role content is account manager to existing accounts and business development of additional revenue via existing and new accounts in order to maximise sales and profits.
The role will be selling a full range of respected safety, protection and control components into various market sectors.
