Area Sales Manager Electrical Components – Circa £30K- 35K Basic, plus Commission and Bonus Scheme, Plus Pension, other Benefits, Car, Mobile, Home Office, Laptop.
We are working on behalf of our client to identify suitable candidates to join our client’s sales team as Area Sales Manager for the North East Region, including the East Midlands. You will currently be a successful Field Sales person in the Electrical Sector experienced in selling electrical components, products or services, with the desire to succeed, build the area business, and grow an already established customer base, the determination to make your mark and take ownership of the development of the business in the area. Ideally your career as a sales engineer or sales representative to date will have included working for a manufacturer or technical electrical distributor and selling to OEM’s, End Users, Panel Builders and installers. The ability to work with, through and motivate distributors and resellers is of high importance as is experience and understanding of a wide range of electrical components and applications, since the range covers electronic, industrial and installation components. You will receive full induction and product training, along with support resources within the organisation. Your own energy will be the only limitation to the levels of your rewards and success.
Located in the South Yorkshire or Yorkshire area, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Wakefield, Barnsley, Leeds, Bradford, A1/M1 corridor would be ideal in order to equally access all areas of this territory. Your role content is account manager to existing accounts and business development of additional revenue via existing and new accounts in order to maximise sales and profits.
The role will be selling a full range of control relays, pcb relays, energy control switches, monitoring and meters, interface modules, surge protection and other devices.
A relevant Electrical/Electronic qualification is desirable but not essential.
In addition you will:
- be driven to achieve excellent results - be very focused on your results -have knowledge of the Electrical components market place and its dynamics.
- be required to eventually develop a business plan and manage your accounts to actively maximise all opportunities for business.
- achieve specification for the company’s products with suitable business targets.
